Tic-Tac-Dough (April 3, 1958?) (1958)

something has gone horribly wrong 8-p

I think this is the April 3 1958 episode of the series "Tic-Tac-Dough". Missing titles and commercials, but gameplay is intact. This was one of several rigged game shows of the time, and when this became known by the public, the ratings of non-rigged shows like "You Bet Your Life" declined as well.

Subject: How could this NOT be rigged?!
It's really obvious, especially the "I heard something from the audience" BS.

Regarding the airdate, I'm pretty sure the March 21 papers would've mentioned Michael getting into his sixth tie game when time was called...but they didn't.

So I'm reasonably sure this aired April 3, 1958.

Subject: Air Date
I've looked into the air date 'matter' too, and came to a Mar. 27, 1958 date.
After the March 20th program the papers wrote: “Capt. Michael O'Rourke out-maneuvered another opponent last night to run his winnings on Tic Tac Dough above $140,000.“ (Deseret News, Mar. 21, 1958). That's about what Jay Jackson says at the beginning of this episode.
But, no matter who's right, I'm glad the uploader acknowledged the importance of an air date, by researching it at all.
